Radnor Rascals (formerly known as Radnor and Treganna After School Club) is an independent After School Club, with charitable status, taking children aged between 4 and 11 years from Radnor Primary School to Conway Road Methodist Church Hall.
The After School Club celebrated its 20th year in September, 2011. Its success and popularity is due to the need for after school provision at an affordable price but with no compromise on quality childcare.
The Club is managed and run by a team of staff with many years of experience in childcare between them. Some staff are empolyed at Radnor Primary in positions varying from nursery nurses and learning support assistants, to kitchen and midday supervisors.
We operate during term time only and are registered with CSSIW (Care and Social Services Inspectorate in Wales). We are inspected every two years and a copy of the 2013 Inspection report is available on request from the manager, Ann Chiplen.
The emphasis is always on fun and nurturing the child's development through pay experiences in a warm, safe and welcoming environment. Our activities range from construction toys, small world toys, role play, arts and crafts projects to more physical activities such as table tennis, air hockey, table top football and snooker. We are fortunate enough to have a smaller side room for the ore boisterous activities!
We provide a healthy snack and drink each day.
Please contact Ann Chiplen, Manager, on the Club Mobile 07944 574735 or 07879 461352 for further information.
